Hi Carl,
I'm delighted you enjoyed Robin's concerts on the QV. He does like the piece by Armand Coeck and has added it too his list of pieces to learn. So look out for it!
Anna

Dear David,
I use a combination of silk wrap and nail glue for the fingers and usually these days use a false nail on the the thumb. The wrap is available from the Spanish Guitar Centre, Nottingham and the glue I get from Boots. The false nail material I use for the thumb I get from America...google Player's Nails. Having said that, the use of glue and false nails dehydrates and weakens the natural nails so once you start to use it it becomes very difficult to use the natural nail again without a lengthy respite. I would only use this method as a last resort. Try nail strengtheners and even taking silica on a daily basis....hope this is of help,
Best regards,
Robin

Hi
I met Robin on the Queen Victoria last week. I told him about a piece called constellations by Armand Coeck (which can be seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3JO985grFY )
I was just wondering what he thinks of the piece and whether or not he will be learning it.
thanks
PS you can check out my guitaring at http://www.youtube.com/user/uncleparsnip

Hi Robin
Great recital at the United Reformed Church, Lytham. 1 Question if you don't mind. I've play classical guitar as a hobby (also a little teaching on the side), but do you have an secrets in keeping your nails in good order. Mine are a nightmare! Would carefully shaped false nails be my solution?
Anyway, I will keep visiting your site to see when your in this area again. Thanks for a good night.
